it has been a hot minute…
since I have posted on here. But fear not! I am still around. And I am engaged to my man. And I have a new job. So there is definately more fodder for blogging.
On engagement: It is the best. My mom asked me a few months ago (when she knew A was going to propose but before she spilled the beans to me) if I thought he was the one and how I knew. I thought about it and decided that this is the fist time in my life where I have no fears or worries whatsoever about a relationship. And commitment makes me excited, not nauseated. So there you have it- the most romantic thing ever! haha. But seriously- he is the best and this year is going to be completely insane and fun planning a wedding.
On my new job: I LOVE it- I am doing community relations at the same shelter where I just finished up my year of americorps and I have loved the transition (including my new office) and I love the day to day. And how I can sneakily blog at 10am…
So there are the basics. Photos and book reviews to come…and I promise not to make this into a wedding blog, although an occasional update or picture might slip in…
